Dario Grabarić

Lecturer

Dario Grabarić is the first WSET certified spirits educator in the region and one of the leading experts in strong alcoholic beverages in this region. He holds the prestigious WSET Level 3 Award in Spirits, the highest level of education in the field of spirits within the WSET system.

As a long-time educator, Dario held hundreds of workshops and masterclasses, and taught at numerous vocational schools and higher education institutions dealing with the topic of strong drinks. He is a regular lecturer at the renowned Art of Bar Academy, as well as one of the presenters of Whiskey Club Zagreb.

He is the founder of the educational and research project Whiskey & Spirits Forensics, through which he deals with a deeper understanding of the production and sensory analysis of distillates. Dario collaborates with specialized magazines and events, is a member of expert tasting teams and juries, and works as a consultant for several distilleries.

He acquired his wealth of knowledge through many years of work in the hospitality industry, as a coordinator and staff trainer in several restaurants and bars, as well as in the sector of trade in premium wines, spirits and bar equipment.

As part of cooperation with the Balkan Wine Center, Dario Grabarić transfers his knowledge through expertly led workshops and lectures, providing a unique opportunity for all lovers and professionals to be educated in accordance with the highest international standards in the field of strong alcoholic beverages.
